why is it that the ‘yoof’ element reckon that carrying knives is cool?
Surely, if you are caught with a knife, you only have one reason to have it and that is to injure and threaten life.It is mind boggling to think that any one, at any time, is likely to pass someone in the street in the U.K. who has the will and mindset to maim or kill for little or no reason.You know what, things have got to change in this country, forget these little prats rights, if caught with a weapon,( not forgetting, we are not at war in this country) they should be sent to Afganistan as target practise.Now I am sure they would truly Cr**p themselves to see what it is like to be threatened.We are all too soft and these losers will carry on intimidating and killing and sending out a message of coolness until the police or the public really decide to do something about it.
Knives appear to have become the weapon of choice. To have one is to be cool – however, it’s worth pointing out that you don’t carry knives unless you intend to use them, and if you use them you MUST face the consequences.
Youth culture today demands that everybody bows down to group pressure in order to belong – I hope that this trend can readily reverse itself before more needless deaths are caused in the name of “coolness”!
